EMTEL Przedsiębiorstwo Projektowo – Produkcyjne was established in 1992. The first released products was a patient monitor - FX 86 and defibrillator DEFI CARD Combi II.

The FX 86 intensive care system produced in 90’s was a modern solution based on computer technology, which competed with products of international companies. DEFI CARD Combi II defibrillator widened a list of offered products with a resuscitation device.

The proper marketing and price policy and fulfilling technical and functional expectations of our customers gained a good position for Emtel at local market of electronic medical equipment. According to world tendencies and in order to widen a list of functional parameters of the FX 86 monitoring system, Emtel started cooperation with well-known companies producing specialized measuring modules.

Our next milestones:

• 1999 - designing and production a compact FX 2000 patient monitors
• 2001 - designing and production a portable FX 2000M patient monitors
• 2004 - designing and production a modular FX 2000MD patient monitors
• 2005 - designing and production a portable FX 2000P patient monitors

The FX 2000 monitor family is still developed by implementing new measurement parameters and a more advanced and better software.

Nowadays all the patient monitors are produced in a basic version with monitoring of ECG and non-invasive blood pressure, pulse oximetry, respiration, temperature, arrhythmia analysis, ST segment analysis and in an advanced version with monitoring of carbon dioxide concentration in exhaled breath, invasive blood pressure, anesthetic gases measurement, cardiac output and archiving of all measured parameters. The monitors are designed for adults, pediatrics and neonates.

Achievements

The undeniable success of EMTEL is that after more than ten years of our work we gained many satisfied customers in Poland and around the world. The dynamic of the sells of patient monitors proves a rapid development of our company.

The important success of our company is supplying the patient monitors to Ministry of Health and many famous university and clinical hospitals.

Our customers

Our most important customers are clinical, district and city hospitals with Intensive Care Units, Intensive Cardiologic Units and pre- and post- operative rooms, operating rooms as well as Ambulance Service Stations. We cooperate with companies, which are general deliverers of medical equipment.
